Happy New Year!

Welcome to the first Ramblings of the new year. Not much going on at the moment so little to report. I
hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to the year ahead.

The merger of our benefice with the Hingham group and the appointment of a new Priest-in-charge
doesn’t appear to have moved any further forward, though the Bishop has requested a meeting with the
appointment representatives. We shall see what comes from that meeting.

The only change to the service rota for this year is that Little Ellingham has moved its morning service on
the second Sunday to the evening. So both its regular services are being held at 6pm in the evening of the
second and third Sunday of the month.

All the other churches remain the same. Of course there will be ‘special’ services on the fifth Sunday of the
month and on special occasions which will be advertised via the Ramblings.

The Benefice service remains a service of Holy Communion on the fourth Sunday of the month with the
choir in attendance and hosted by each church in the Shellrock benefice in turn.
